Product Description
The MTE-ES200 is a 2-port external eSATA III 6Gbps AHCI PCIe 2.0 host adapter, designed as a 6Gbps external SATA III PCIe Gen2 2Lane Host Adapter. It supports SATA Command-based Port Multipliers and can connect up to 10 SATA drives via 2x 5-port PMs. The card supports SATA I, SATA II and SATA III HDD, SSD, Optical Drive and Blu-Ray Drive, with Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA hot-plug capability. It relies on the built-in AHCI inbox driver in Windows, Linux and Mac 10.x and later, so no additional driver is required, and the on-board BIOS supports Windows and Linux OS booting. It uses a Low Profile PCIe form factor and is suited to adding external SATA storage expansion to Mac, Windows and Linux systems.
