Model MTM-UB230

The MTM-UB230 is a Mini PCI-e 2-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 card (described as USB 3.0 in its features) built on the NEC µPD720202 chipset. It upgrades an older Mini PCIe-based system from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 connectivity with two additional external ports and data rates up to 5 Gbps with UASP support. It can connect external hard drives, CD/DVD drives, MP3 players, printers, scanners, webcams, game controllers and digital cameras. The card is fully compliant with USB 3.0 rev 1.0 and Intel xHCI rev 1.0, supports USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2, and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.0/1.1 devices. An optional LP4 power connector provides up to 900mA per USB port, and a Low-Profile/half-height bracket is included.
