Product Description

The MTI-280 is a PCI to 8-port RS232 expansion card based on the RDC-C6238 chipset with a native single chip design. It provides 8 RS232 ports (9 pin, D-Sub, Male) through a PCI slot interface. The card is compliant with PCI Rev. 2.2 specifications and PCI Power Management Rev. 1.1, and offers automated out-of-band flow control using CTS/RTS and DSR/DTR. A full profile and a low profile/half-height bracket are included. It supports a wide range of Windows versions including DOS, 98SE, 2000, CE 5.0/6.0 and Embedded editions, plus Windows Server, Mac OS and Linux (LTS versions listed).
