Product Description
The MT2-GM200 converts a SATA based mSATA or M.2 SSD into a standard 7mm height 2.5” SATA drive. It supports full size mSATA SSDs through a latch type connector that needs no retention screw, and SATA based 80mm, 60mm, 42mm and 30mm M.2 SSDs through an on-board NGFF type 2280-D5-B B Key socket, including dual-sided modules with 1.5mm component height. It is 100% compatible with the 2.5” SATA drive mechanical spec with a 22 pin SATA (signals and power) male connector. The SSD and PCBA are powered from the 15Pin SATA 5V input, with up to 3.3V/4A provided to the SSD. It is transparent to the operating system, needs no driver, and supports Windows, Mac and Linux. If both an M.2 and an mSATA SSD are installed, both SSDs are active.
