The MTE-SA1000 is a 10-port 6Gbps SATA III PCI Express 2.0 internal host adapter (PCIe Gen2 2Lane) positioned for surveillance users who need to install 10 SATA drives and an ODD in one Low Profile PCIe HBA with no driver required. It uses ASMedia ASM1062 x1 and JMicron JMB575 x2 chipsets and is fully compliant with Serial ATA specifications 3.2. It supports SATA I, SATA II and SATA III HDD, SSD, Optical Drive and Blu-Ray Drive with NCQ and SATA hot-plug capability. The built-in AHCI inbox driver in Windows, Linux and Mac 10.x and later is used natively, and the on-board BIOS supports Windows and Linux OS booting. It does NOT support SATA Port Multiplier, and ships with a regular size bracket on board plus an additional Low Profile bracket.
