The MTG-ME100 is an M.2 to MiniPCI-E riser card that lets desktop PCs use Mini-Cards such as 3G, CDMA, WWAN, HSPA, GPS, WiMAX and Bluetooth. It follows PCI Express base Specification 1.1 (up to 2.5Gbps) and M.2 Specification Revision 0.9 Socket 1, and supports the PCIe and USB2.0 system bus interfaces. The card accepts M.2 2230 dimension, M.2 B+M Key card types and provides 1x MiniPCI-e port. It also supports PCIeMiniCard IEEE WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n and 802.11ac, and includes a SIM slot for 3G cards. No drivers are needed, making it suited to adding wireless and mobile-broadband Mini-Cards to a desktop system.
