Product Description

The MTE-280 is a PCI Express 8-port RS232 card based on the EXAR XR17V358 chipset. It is PCI Express base spec 1.1 and PCIe 2.0 Gen 1 compliant and provides eight independent UART channels with a 16550 compatible register set. Each channel has full 256-byte receiver and transmitter FIFOs, adjustable IRQ trigger levels and automated flow control, and RS232 transmission speed reaches up to 115 kbps. An 8-port serial breakout cable provides 8 DB-9 (9 pin; D-Sub) male ports. The card is certified by CE, FCC, RoHS and Microsoft WQHL, and supports Windows 7/8.1/10.
