The MTE-FW200 is a 2-port external 6-pin FireWire 400 (1394a) host adapter in a Low Profile PCI Express x1 form factor, with a TI chipset. It supports 1394 data transfer up to 400 Mbps, and its two external 6Pin 1394a-2000 ports run at S400, S200 and S100 speed. The card complies with PCI Express Specification revision 1.0a (2.5Gbps lane host interface), IEEE 1394a-2000 and 1394-1995, and 1394 OHCI Spec 1.1. 1394 12V bus power is supplied automatically from the PCIe bus, or from the PC power supply through a Molex 4Pin connector. All Windows and Mac OS built-in drivers support the card, and it supports Plug and Play with both Low Profile and regular size PCIe brackets included.
