Product Description
The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-7 MCX713114TC-GEAT is a quad-port 50GbE adapter engineered specifically for telecommunications applications, combining standard high-throughput Ethernet networking with the precision timing features required by 5G radio access networks, fronthaul/midhaul infrastructure and financial trading systems. In addition to four QSFP56 ports delivering up to 50Gb/s each (200Gb/s aggregate) over a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface, the card exposes dedicated SMA connectors for Pulse-Per-Second (PPS) input and output and supports Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE), enabling tight clock synchronization across distributed base stations and network elements. The adapter retains ConnectX-7's full RoCE v2 RDMA stack, inline hardware crypto offload for IPsec/TLS, and Secure Boot with hardware root-of-trust - important for telco-grade security compliance. ASAP2 virtual switching acceleration and programmable congestion control further support the virtualized RAN (vRAN) and network-function-virtualization workloads common in modern telecom cores. This SKU is purpose-built where clock accuracy and network throughput both matter.
