The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-7 MCX713106AC-CEAT is a dual-port 100GbE smart network adapter that pairs a PCIe 5.0 x16 host interface with QSFP112 connectivity, giving servers up to 200Gb/s of aggregate Ethernet bandwidth with headroom to spare on the host bus. As part of NVIDIA's seventh-generation ConnectX family, the card delivers hardware-accelerated RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for low-latency, CPU-offloaded data movement, making it well suited to GPU-accelerated AI clusters, distributed storage and high-performance computing fabrics that demand both throughput and efficiency. The MCX713106AC-CEAT includes an inline hardware crypto engine for IPsec/TLS encryption offload and Secure Boot with hardware root-of-trust, protecting both in-flight data and adapter firmware integrity - important for security-conscious enterprise and cloud deployments. ConnectX-7's ASAP2 virtual switching acceleration, adaptive routing, congestion control and GPUDirect RDMA/Storage support round out the feature set, letting the same adapter serve virtualized multi-tenant infrastructure as well as latency-sensitive AI/ML pipelines.
