Product Description

The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 MCX654106A-HCAT is a dual-port VPI adapter built around NVIDIA Socket Direct technology, which splits the card's 32-lane PCIe bus into two 16-lane connections: one through the adapter's PCIe x16 edge connector and a second through a companion PCIe x16 auxiliary card, linked by two Cabline CA-II Plus harnesses. This design lets each CPU in a dual-socket server reach the fabric directly over its own PCIe interface, bypassing the inter-CPU QPI/UPI link to reduce latency and CPU utilization, while its two independent 200Gb/s QSFP56 ports add fabric redundancy or bandwidth aggregation. Based on the MT28908A0-XCCF-HVM controller with the same RDMA/RoCE v2, SR-IOV, and in-network computing offloads as the standard VPI cards, the kit is not supported under Windows/WinOF-2 and does not provide Multi-Host connectivity. Distributed by MABLETECH for regional system integrators building dual-socket HPC and AI infrastructure.
