Product Description

The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 VPI MCX653436A-HDAI is a dual-port OCP Spec 3.0 adapter that extends the ConnectX-6 VPI family's Virtual Protocol Interconnect flexibility across two QSFP56 ports, each independently switchable between 200Gb/s HDR InfiniBand and 200GbE Ethernet, over a shared PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface. Built on the ConnectX-6 ASIC (MT28908A0-XCCF-HVM), it supports native InfiniBand RDMA and RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) on both ports, enabling dual-rail InfiniBand fabrics, redundant Ethernet uplinks, or mixed-protocol configurations from a single card. As a full ConnectX-6 adapter, it retains hardware in-network computing acceleration for MPI collective operations along with SR-IOV, QoS, and NVMe-oF offloads. Housed in the OCP 3.0 form factor under NVIDIA ordering SKU 900-9X657-0058-SI2, the MCX653436A-HDAI is designed for large-scale HPC and AI-training clusters that need dual-port HDR InfiniBand bandwidth or fabric redundancy per compute node, without sacrificing OCP 3.0 mechanical compliance.
