The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 MCX653106A-EFAT is the 2-port sibling of the MCX653105A-EFAT, combining single-slot Socket Direct connectivity with two independent QSFP56 ports. The PCIe x16 edge connector is wired as two PCIe x8 lanes "in a row," each routable to a different CPU socket in a dual-socket server, delivering Socket Direct's latency and CPU-utilization benefits from one card and one custom-pinout slot — no auxiliary card or harnesses required. Each port runs up to 100Gb/s (HDR100/EDR InfiniBand or 100GbE) on the ConnectX-6 (MT28908A0-XCCF-HVM) controller, with sub-600ns latency, hardware RDMA, SR-IOV, GPUDirect RDMA and full in-network computing acceleration.
