The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 MCX653105A-ECAT is a 1-port InfiniBand/Ethernet VPI adapter in the full PCIe x16 half-height, half-length form factor. Its PCIe 3.0/4.0 x16 edge connector and ConnectX-6 (MT28908A0-XCCF-HVM) controller deliver up to 100Gb/s per port — HDR100 or EDR InfiniBand, or 100GbE — over a single QSFP56 connector, with sub-600ns latency and hardware RDMA. The wider x16 interface gives this card more host bandwidth headroom than the x8 MCX651105A-EDAT, and its silicon and feature set are shared with the ConnectX-6 200Gb/s cards, so it inherits the same in-network computing accelerations, GPUDirect RDMA, SR-IOV and storage offloads.
