The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 Lx MCX631435AN-GDAB is an OCP 3.0 Small Form Factor network adapter that brings RDMA-accelerated 50GbE connectivity to Open Compute Project-compliant server platforms. Built on the ConnectX-6 Lx ASIC (MT28942A0-YCCF-AE), it connects via PCIe 4.0 x8 and provides a single 50Gb/s QSFP28 port with hardware-accelerated RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2). The OCP 3.0 form factor supports tool-less installation and hot-swap serviceability in modern hyperscale and enterprise chassis built around the OCP NIC 3.0 specification, simplifying deployment and maintenance at scale. ASAP² hardware offload accelerates virtual switching, and SR-IOV enables efficient multi-tenant VM networking. As the standard variant, without Crypto or Secure Boot, the MCX631435AN-GDAB is well suited to cloud and enterprise server fleets that standardize on OCP NIC form factors and need efficient, low-power RDMA networking.
