The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx EN network adapter MCX631102AE-ADAT is a dual-port 25GbE smart network interface card built on the ConnectX-6 Dx ASIC, delivering line-rate Ethernet connectivity with hardware-accelerated RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for latency-sensitive AI, HPC and cloud workloads. Connecting via a PCIe 4.0 x8 host interface and dual SFP28 cages, the card combines advanced hardware offloads — including CPU offload, quality-of-service (QoS) traffic shaping, jumbo frame support and NVMe-oF storage acceleration — with SR-IOV network virtualization for dense multi-tenant deployments. This variant adds inline IPsec/TLS Crypto offload, accelerating encrypted network traffic in hardware and freeing host CPU cycles for compute-intensive workloads, though without the hardware Secure Boot chain-of-trust feature. Sideband manageability is provided via NC-SI. Built on the field-proven MT28942A0-YCCF-AE controller, the MCX631102AE-ADAT gives distributors and system integrators a flexible, high-performance 25GbE building block for modern data center, cloud and AI infrastructure deployments.
