The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx MCX623436AE-CDAB is a dual-port 100 Gigabit Ethernet OCP 3.0 Small Form Factor adapter built for workloads that require encrypted, high-throughput network connectivity. Connecting via PCIe 4.0 x16, it delivers up to 100Gb/s per port over QSFP56 connectors and supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for low-latency, CPU-efficient data movement. Its defining capability is the onboard Crypto engine, which performs inline IPsec/TLS encryption and decryption in hardware, offloading cryptographic work from the host CPU so the adapter can sustain full line-rate throughput even on encrypted traffic. Unlike premium SKUs in the family, this card does not include Secure Boot, Multi-Host or Socket Direct, keeping it focused on dual-port encrypted connectivity for single-host deployments.
