It combines the family's line-rate 200 Gb/s Ethernet performance over PCIe 4.0 x16 with hardware-based Secure Boot and inline Crypto (IPsec/TLS) offload, making it the security-focused variant within the ConnectX-6 Dx OCP3.0 lineup. Secure Boot authenticates firmware and configuration at power-up to protect against tampering and supply-chain attacks, while the onboard Crypto engine offloads IPsec and TLS encryption/decryption from the host CPU, preserving throughput and freeing compute cycles for application workloads.
