The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 Dx MCX623106GN-CDAT is a dual-port 100GbE network adapter built on the ConnectX-6 Dx controller with a PCIe 4.0 x16 host interface, purpose-built for telecom-grade timing applications. It adds Enhanced Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) and PTP Grandmaster (GM) support along with a GNSS PPS output, allowing the card to derive or distribute highly precise time and frequency references synchronized to GNSS satellite signals. This makes it well suited to 5G telecom infrastructure, financial trading platforms, and distributed systems that require sub-microsecond time alignment across the network. Alongside its timing capabilities, the card delivers standard ConnectX-6 Dx networking: RoCE v2 RDMA for low-latency data movement, ASAP² hardware offload for Open vSwitch, and SR-IOV for efficient virtualization.
