The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-6 EN adapter (MCX613106A-VDAT) is a dual-port 200GbE card built on the ConnectX-6 (MT28908) ASIC, connected to the host through a single PCIe 4.0 x16 interface. Unlike the Gen 3 Socket Direct variant in the same family, PCIe 4.0's doubled per-lane bandwidth lets a single x16 connector feed both 200Gb QSFP56 ports without a second auxiliary card, simplifying installation in modern Gen 4-capable servers. The card supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2), giving applications low-latency, CPU-efficient data transport, along with the adaptive routing, congestion control, and high message-rate engine that ConnectX-6 is known for in HPC and AI clusters. With two independent 200GbE ports, the MCX613106A-VDAT is well suited to nodes that need network redundancy, link aggregation, or separated storage/compute traffic paths, such as AI training servers, HPC compute nodes, and high-throughput storage or database servers.
