The NVIDIA Mellanox MCX566A-CCAI OCP3.0 is a ConnectX-5 Ethernet network adapter built in the OCP 3.0 Small Form Factor (SFF) Card format for direct mounting in OCP-compliant server platforms. Based on the MT27808A0-FCCF-CE controller, it provides 2 port of 100Gb/s per port connectivity over QSFP28 cages, connecting to the host over PCIe 3.0 x16. It is an Ethernet-focused design delivering RoCE v2 RDMA for latency-sensitive, CPU-offloaded networking. Hardware offloads for RDMA, NVMe-oF, SR-IOV and overlay-network encapsulation reduce host CPU load while sustaining line-rate throughput, and the OCP form factor simplifies serviceability and airflow in dense, hyperscale-style chassis.
