The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-5 MCX565A-CCAB is a single-port 100GbE Ethernet Networking (EN) adapter in the OCP 3.0 form factor, built on a PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface and the MT27808A0-FCCF-CE controller. As the base ConnectX-5 EN variant (rather than the higher-bandwidth ConnectX-5 Ex), it targets servers where a single 100GbE port and PCIe 3.0 connectivity are sufficient, while still benefiting from the OCP 3.0 mezzanine form factor's tool-less, hot-swap-friendly deployment model common in hyperscale and cloud racks.
