The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-5 MCX562A-ACAI is a dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet adapter built on the OCP 3.0 Small Form Factor (SFF) specification, designed for high-density server deployment through the front or rear panel of OCP 3.0-compliant chassis. Connecting over a PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface, it delivers two 25G SFP28 ports with hardware-accelerated RoCE v2 RDMA for low-latency, CPU-efficient data movement, along with SR-IOV, overlay network offloads, and NVMe-oF storage acceleration. This SKU variant ships with an internal lock bracket, the tool-less retention style commonly used in hyperscale and OEM OCP 3.0 chassis designs. Built-in host management support (NC-SI) allows the adapter to be monitored and controlled out-of-band through the platform baseboard management controller, making it well suited for large-scale, remotely managed server fleets in cloud and enterprise data centers.
