The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-5 MCX512F-ACHT is a dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter from the ConnectX-5 EN family, built on the MT27808A0-FCCF-EV controller with a PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface. It is the most fully-featured member of the MCX512 series, combining UEFI (x86/Arm) boot firmware for PXE network provisioning with Host Management for NC-SI-based BMC integration and out-of-band monitoring — a common requirement for OEM server platforms and enterprise fleet management. It supports RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for low-latency network I/O, hardware storage acceleration for NVMe-oF targets, and SR-IOV for dense virtualization. Quality-of-service controls, CPU offload engines, jumbo frame support, LLDP, and QCN congestion notification round out the feature set.
