The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-4 MCX455A-ECAT is a single-port 100Gb/s VPI (Virtual Protocol Interconnect) adapter card built around the ConnectX-4 controller (MT27704A0-FDCF-EV), capable of operating as either 100Gb/s EDR InfiniBand or 100 Gigabit Ethernet on the same QSFP28 port through a PCIe 3.0 x16 host interface.
