The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN MCX4411A-ACQN is a single-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet adapter in the OCP 2.0 mezzanine form factor, built for hyperscale and OEM server designs that standardize on Open Compute Project connectors instead of a traditional PCIe bracket. It carries a PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface, one SFP28 port at up to 25Gb/s, and hardware-offloaded RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for low-latency, low-CPU networking. The ACQN variant adds Host Management, allowing the platform BMC to monitor and configure the adapter out-of-band independent of host OS state — a common requirement in OCP-style rack-scale deployments where remote fleet visibility matters. Built on the single-chip MT27712A0-FDCF-AE controller, the card retains the core ConnectX-4 Lx data path in a compact OCP mezzanine card that tool-lessly installs into compliant server trays, simplifying service and replacement in dense hyperscale racks.
