Product Description

The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN MCX4121A-XCAT is a dual-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter that extends the entry-level ConnectX-4 Lx family with a second SFP28 port for link redundancy, active-active bonding or bandwidth aggregation. Sharing the same PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface and MT27712A0-FDCF-XE controller as its single-port sibling, it delivers hardware-accelerated RoCE v2 RDMA transport while keeping cost and power draw in line with entry-tier 10GbE deployments. The dual-port design is popular in server designs that require NIC-level failover to a redundant top-of-rack switch, or that run LACP/bonding configurations for higher effective throughput. As with other ConnectX-4 Lx EN cards, it is broadly supported across Linux, Windows Server and VMware ESXi environments and integrates cleanly into standard SFP28/SFP+ cabling infrastructure, making it a practical choice for enterprise and cloud server fleets standardizing on 10GbE.
