The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN MCX4121A-ACUT is a dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet network adapter from NVIDIA's cost-optimized ConnectX-4 Lx family, designed for dense enterprise, cloud and hyperscale server deployments that need 25/50GbE-class connectivity without the cost of a full ConnectX-4 controller. Fitted with a PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface and two SFP28 ports, the card delivers up to 25Gb/s per port with hardware-offloaded RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) for low-latency, low-CPU-overhead networking. The MCX4121A-ACUT ships UEFI-enabled with PXE boot support, allowing diskless provisioning and pre-boot network installation, and adds Secure Boot to validate firmware and driver integrity before the OS loads. Built on the single-chip MT27712A0-FDCF-AE controller in a standard tall-bracket PCIe form factor, it combines SR-IOV, hardware QoS and stateless offloads to keep east-west storage and virtualization traffic consistent under load.
