Product Description
The NVIDIA Mellanox ConnectX-4 Lx EN MCX4121A-ACHT is a dual-port 25 Gigabit Ethernet adapter that adds Host Management to the ConnectX-4 Lx feature set, letting the platform baseboard management controller monitor and configure the NIC out-of-band, independent of host OS or power state. Like the rest of the MCX4121A family, it pairs a PCIe 3.0 x8 host interface with two SFP28 ports capable of 25Gb/s each, and offloads RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE v2) in hardware for low-latency, low-CPU networking. The card ships UEFI-enabled with PXE boot support for diskless provisioning, and Secure Boot to verify firmware and driver integrity before OS handoff. Built on the single-chip MT27712A0-FDCF-AE controller, the ACHT variant is well suited to managed server fleets where remote NIC inventory, firmware update and health monitoring through the BMC are operational requirements, alongside SR-IOV, hardware QoS and stateless offloads for virtualization and storage traffic.
