The MTE-U2200 is a 2.5-inch NVMe U.2 SSD PCIe 3.0 x4 carrier adapter that lets a PCIe-NVMe 2.5-inch U.2 SSD be installed on a PCIe card and work with the main board PCIe x4 bus slot. It is a PCI Express 3.0 x4 Lane host adapter with a 68Pin SFF-8639 interface connector to the 2.5-inch U.2 SSD, and supports PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 2.0 motherboards. The card is transparent to the operating system and needs no board driver. Windows 10, Win8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Linux series (Fedora, SUSE, Ubuntu, Red Hat) support NVMe with native drivers. It is fully RoHS compliant and targets enthusiast gaming and workstation markets.
