The MTE-MX100 is a miniPCIe to PCIe x1 adapter that lets a 52Pin Mini PCIe Half-Mini or Full-Mini card work in a desktop mainboard PCIe x1 bus slot. It supports both truly PCIe based mPCIe cards and USB2.0 based mPCIe cards, with an on-board MicroUSB connector and 5Pin USB pin header for USB2.0 based cards. Two removable mPCIe cradles support Full-Mini and Half-Mini cards, and the mPCIe power can be selected from PCIe bus power or USB2.0 host power. An LED indicator shows wireless (WPAN, WLAN, WWAN) linking. It is a Low Profile PCIe form factor with a regular size bracket on board and a Low Profile bracket included, and the bracket has two holes for wireless antenna use. It is a 100% OS-transparent hardware bridge for Windows, Mac and Linux.
