Product Description

The MTN82580-4RJ is a PCIe x4 1Gbps quad port copper server Ethernet adapter based on the Intel 82580 Gigabit Ethernet Controller, compatible with PCIe x8 and x16 slots. It provides four 1000BASE-T ports at 10/100/1000Mbps per port over PCI Express Gen 2.0 5 GT/s. Cat 5e or higher cabling reaches up to 100m for 1000BASE-T. The adapter supports PXE and Intel VT-c, jumbo frames up to 9 KB, and INTA, INTB, INTC, INTD, MSI and MSI-X interrupt levels. It supports Windows, Linux (including SLES) and VMware ESX/ESXi, making it suitable for server deployments that need multiple copper Gigabit ports.
