Product Description

The MTE-240AI is a low profile PCI Express to 4-port RS232/422/485 expansion card with isolation. It uses a native single chip design based on the EXAR XR17V354 chipset and is compliant with PCI Express Rev.2.2. The card provides 4 DB-9 (9 pin; D-Sub) male ports and supports RS232, RS422, RS485 2-wire and RS485 4-wire modes, with each port settable independently. Built-in ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) protection is included, and both a full profile and a low profile/half-height bracket are supplied. It supports Windows, Mac OS and Linux versions listed in its specifications and operates from 0°C to 70°C.
