Product Description
The MT2-GX200R is a hardware RAID adapter that converts 2x M.2 NGFF SATA based SSDs into a standard 2.5” 7mm SATA III drive. It uses a 6Gbps SATA III H/W RAID controller and supports SATA I, SATA II and SATA III host ports, SATA hot plug and booting. Two NGFF type 2280-D5-B B Key sockets support 6Gbps and 3Gbps SATA based M.2 SSDs in 80/60/42/30 mm sizes (types 2280, 2260, 2242, 2230), including dual-sided modules with 1.5mm component height. Supported modes are H/W RAID 0, RAID 1, SPAN (Big Drive) and PM (2Drives); PM (2Drives) is not supported with a SATA I or non-Port-Multiplier-compatible host. RAID mode is set by hardware jumper or Windows and Mac GUI, and no driver is required on Windows, Mac and Linux.
