Product Description

The MTE-FW300 is a 3-port IEEE 1394 PCI Express card adding two 9-pin IEEE 1394b (FireWire 800) ports and one 6-pin 1394a port in a Low Profile PCIe form factor, for data transfer at 800 / 400 / 200 / 100 Mbps. It is built on the TI XIO2213 chipset and complies with PCI Express Specification revision 1.1 (2.5Gbps lane host interface) and the 1394 Open Host Controller Interface (OHCI) Spec 1.1 and Rev 1.2 Draft. The two bilingual 1394b ports run at S800 or S400b speed, and the 1394a-2000 port runs at S400, S200 or S100. An on-board Molex mini 4Pin power connector provides 1.5A/12V 1394 bus power from the PC power supply. It supports Plug and Play and works with built-in OS drivers on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, with a regular size and a Low Profile PCIe bracket provided.
