Product Description
The Magewell Ultra Encode SDI Plus Module is a professional-grade SDI hardware encoder module built on a modular, hot-swappable design that installs into the Modator 2U rack chassis. The module provides two BNC connectors — one input and one loop-through — and accepts SD / HD / 3G / 6G-SDI signals at resolutions up to 4096x2160p, encoding them in H.264 or H.265 (HEVC). Dual-stream simultaneous encoding enables concurrent push to up to six destinations, with native support for NDI HX2 / HX3, SRT, RTMP / RTMPS, RTSP, HLS and TS over UDP / RTP, including direct streaming to Twitch, YouTube and Facebook. An on-board Micro-SD card slot and USB external storage port allow simultaneous live recording in MP4 / MOV / TS format, with automatic upload to FTP, Google Drive and Dropbox. All configuration and management is handled through a Web UI or third-party API — no driver installation required — making it well suited for education, broadcast, live events and remote production.
