Product Description
The Magewell Pro Convert HDMI Plus Module is a hot-swappable HDMI-to-NDI encoder module designed exclusively for the Modator 2U rack chassis. It encodes HDMI 1.4 video signals in real time as NDI High Bandwidth streams and delivers them over a 1000Mbps Ethernet port to an IP production network. The module also provides an HDMI 1.4 loop-through output for feeding a local monitor or downstream equipment without requiring a separate distribution amplifier. Maximum supported input resolution is 4096x2160 60fps (4:2:0) or 4096x2160 30fps (4:4:4/4:2:2); NDI encoded output reaches up to 2048x2160 120fps 4:2:2 8-bit, with support for up to 8-channel HDMI-embedded audio. The Web UI offers comprehensive configuration including de-interlacing, custom EDID, scaling, aspect-ratio adjustment and frame-rate control. Devices can be centrally managed through Magewell Control Hub, making the module well suited for multi-channel NDI contribution deployments in studio, education, enterprise and broadcast production environments.
