Product Description
The Magewell Pro Convert 12G SDI 4K Plus Module is a modular NDI encoder with a hot-swappable design that installs into a Modator 2U chassis and delivers NDI High Bandwidth streams over the network at up to 4096x2160 60fps. The device accepts the full range of SDI signal formats — SD, HD, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI — and provides a 12G-SDI loop-through output so the original signal can be simultaneously distributed to other equipment. On the encoding side it supports NDI 6.2, outputs the same resolution as the input or any custom resolution, and includes built-in hardware video processing for de-interlacing, up/down scaling, frame-rate conversion and aspect-ratio adjustment. Configuration is performed via a Web UI, and the unit can be registered with Magewell Control Hub for centralized remote management. PTZ camera control via Visca UDP over NDI is also supported.
