Product Description
The Magewell Pro Capture SDI 4K Plus is a quad-channel SDI PCIe capture card with a PCIe Gen2 x4 host interface. It is equipped with four HD-BNC inputs capable of accepting signals up to 12G-SDI, with support for Single Link, Dual Link and Quad Link modes, and a maximum input resolution of 4096x2160. The card features two full 10-bit video processing pipelines at approximately 720 Mpixels/s each, providing hardware de-interlacing, cropping, scaling, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion and OSD overlay. An integrated SDI cable equalizer significantly extends transmission range — up to 40m for 12G-SDI, 150m for 3G-SDI, and 330m for SD-SDI. Multiple cards can be installed in a single system, and SG-DMA delivers approximately 1,600 MB/s DMA bandwidth per channel, making it well suited for multi-source broadcast production, live streaming, recording, and broadcast ingest/playout applications.
