The Magewell Pro Capture HDMI 4K Plus is a single-channel 4K PCIe video capture card with a PCIe Gen2 x4 host interface. It supports HDMI 2.0 and DVI-D 1.0 input and captures ultra-high-resolution signals at up to 4096x2160 60fps. The card features dual 10-bit video processing pipelines each with approximately 720 Mpixels/s of bandwidth, providing hardware de-interlacing, cropping, scaling, aspect-ratio conversion, color-space conversion, frame-rate conversion and OSD overlay, with HDR10 support. SG-DMA transfer delivers approximately 1600 MB/s per channel in a PCIe 2.0 system, while a hardware 100ns high-resolution timestamp enables precise A/V synchronization and ultra-low latency of just 64 video lines. Multiple cards can be installed in a single host, and each input channel supports unlimited independent capture streams, making the card well suited for 4K broadcast production, live switching, video recording, medical imaging, education and professional monitoring.
