Product Description
The MTE-ES400 is an external 4-port 6Gbps AHCI eSATA III PCI Express 2.0 x4 lane port-multiplier-aware host adapter. It supports 4x port multipliers and connects up to 20 SATA drives (via 4x 5-port PMs) on Mac, Windows and Linux. It is fully compliant with Serial ATA specifications 3.2 and supports SATA III, II and I transfer rates of 6.0Gbps, 3.0Gbps and 1.5Gbps, working with SATA HDD, SSD, optical drives and Blu-Ray drives. It supports ATA and ATAPI commands, Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA hot-plug, and supports PCIe 1.0 and PCIe 2.0 motherboards. Built-in AHCI inbox drivers in Windows 10, 8, Win7, Vista, 2008, 2012, Linux, FreeBSD 8.0 and Mac 10.x and later mean no additional driver is required, and on-board BIOS supports Windows and Linux booting.
