Product Description
The Broadcom N2200G is a dual-port 200GbE OCP NIC 3.0 Small Form Factor adapter built on the Thor 2 (BCM57608) Ethernet controller, addressing the performance and serviceability demands of mega-scale data-center networks. Each QSFP112 port delivers up to 200Gbps, with the pair combinable into a single 400GbE interface, and the card connects to the host over a PCIe 5.0 x16 edge connector compliant with the OCP 3.0 SFF specification for tool-less, front-serviceable deployment. The controller combines high raw bandwidth with hardware acceleration: fourth-generation RoCEv2 with hardware congestion control, on-chip Geneve/VXLAN/NVGRE tunneling that improves throughput up to 5x while cutting CPU utilization up to 90 percent versus software processing, and the TruFlow engine for line-rate virtual-switch offload. A thermal design tuned for GPU-scale-out AI clusters, up to 16-function NIC partitioning, SR-IOV, silicon Root-of-Trust security, and TruManage manageability make the N2200G well suited to AI/ML, cloud, HPC, and storage server deployments.
