Product Description
The Broadcom N2100G is a dual-port 100GbE OCP NIC 3.0 Small Form Factor adapter built on Broadcom's Thor (BCM57508) controller, configured as two independent 100Gbps QSFP56 ports that auto-negotiate down to 50/40/25/10GbE as needed. The card connects to the host over a PCIe Gen4 x16 edge connector compliant with the OCP 3.0 SFF mechanical specification for tool-less, front-serviceable installation. It shares the Thor platform's full acceleration stack: RoCEv2 for RDMA-based low-latency transport, the TruFlow engine for line-rate Open vSwitch offload, SR-IOV virtual-function support, multi-host connectivity so multiple CPUs can share the two ports, and a silicon Root-of-Trust with secure boot and attestation. TruManage provides standards-based management for large-scale deployments. The N2100G suits enterprise, cloud, and storage servers that need dual-port 100GbE redundancy and bandwidth in a compact OCP form factor.
