Product Description
The Broadcom MegaRAID 9760W-32i is the highest-density wide-port controller in the MegaRAID 9700 series, built on Broadcom's ninth-generation SAS5132W RAID-on-Chip (RoC). Like the rest of the 9700 series, it delivers up to 2x the random read performance and 5x the random write RAID performance of previous-generation MegaRAID adapters, with a fully integrated RAID cache that removes the need for onboard DDR memory. The 9760W-32i connects up to 32 internal SAS, SATA or NVMe devices through two x16 SFF-TA-1016 wide-port connectors, running over an x16 PCIe Gen 5.0 host interface. Onboard energy backup frees the adapter from a tethered CacheVault module in normal operation, while the CacheVault CVPM33 kit remains available for extended write-back cache protection. CNSA 2.0-compliant Hardware Secure Boot, SPDM Attestation and PCIe Embedded Analyzer (PEA) diagnostics round out the platform's security and serviceability features. The controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD.
