Product Description

The Broadcom Emulex LPe37102 SecureHBA is a 2-port, 32GFC Fibre Channel host bus adapter built on Broadcom's Gen 7 XE701 SEC I/O controller and a PCIe Gen 4.0 x8 host interface. It is the industry's first HBA to deliver autonomous in-flight encryption (EDIF) entirely in hardware, protecting Fibre Channel data as it moves between server, fabric and storage array with no application changes and no measurable performance penalty. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) algorithms harden the encrypted data path against future quantum-computing attacks, while session-based key management built on the ANSI/INCITS FC-SP-3 standard removes the cost and complexity of dedicated key-management software. Each short-wave optical LC SFP+ port autosenses 32GFC, 16GFC and 8GFC link speeds for drop-in use on existing fabrics. Managed in-band through the Emulex SAN Manager app, the LPe37102 gives regulated enterprises and government networks a cost-effective, Zero Trust path to DORA, NIS2 and CNSA 2.0 compliance without disrupting array-side services such as compression, deduplication or ransomware detection.
