The MTE-SA400R is an internal 4-port hardware RAID 6Gbps AHCI SATA III PCI Express 2.0 2Lane (x2) host adapter based on the Marvell 88SE9230 chipset. It is compliant with Serial ATA specifications 3.0 and supports HDD, SSD, Optical Drive and Blu-Ray Drive with NCQ and SATA hot-plug capability. Hardware RAID0, RAID1 and RAID 10 can be configured and monitored on attached drives through Windows, Mac and Linux GUI, and the on-board BIOS supports OS booting and RAID configuration on Windows and Linux. The card uses the built-in AHCI inbox driver in Windows, Linux and Mac 10.x and later, with a Windows XP driver also provided. It uses a Low Profile PCIe form factor with a regular size bracket on board and an additional Low Profile bracket included.
