Product Description

The MTE-SA200-R is a 2-port 6Gbps Hardware RAID AHCI SATA III PCI Express 2.0 host adapter (PCIe Gen2 1 Lane) with a Marvell chipset, supporting NCQ and a Port Multiplier. The hardware RAID controller offloads the host CPU for maximum performance, and supports Non-RAID, Hardware RAID0 and Hardware RAID1 for HDD and SSD, with up to two RAID groups. Optical Drive and Blu-Ray Drive are supported in Non-RAID mode. The on-board BIOS supports OS booting and RAID configuration on Windows and Linux, and Windows, Mac and Linux GUI tools are provided to configure and monitor RAID. The built-in AHCI inbox driver is used natively in Windows, Linux and Mac 10.x and later, with a Windows XP driver also provided, in a Low Profile PCIe form factor with both bracket sizes included.
