Product Description
The MT2-MX200R is a hardware RAID adapter that converts 2x full size SATA III (6Gbps) mSATA SSDs into a single 7mm 2.5” SATA drive. It uses a 6Gbps SATA III H/W RAID controller and supports SATA I, SATA II and SATA III host ports. Supported modes are H/W RAID 1, SPAN (Big Drive) and PM (2Drives); PM (2Drives) mode is not supported with a SATA I or non-Port-Multiplier-compatible host connection. It supports SATA hot plug, and the mSATA SSD can be the primary bootable device. Latch type mSATA connectors need no screws, and the unit is 100% compatible with the 2.5” SATA drive mechanical spec with a 22 pin SATA male connector. No driver is required on Windows, Mac and Linux, and RAID mode is configured by hardware jumper or the Windows and Mac GUI.
